Founder's Words

My students often ask me: ”Teacher Vincent, how do you becoming a great memory trainer? Is it because you have good memory since you were a kid?”

My answer is always “Nope”, I’m neither a smart kid nor having good memory, even worst I have been categorized as a slow learner, the headmaster was once advised my parents to transfer me to another school, to look for other teacher’s help. Therefore, I am aware that I am suffered from bad memories compare to my classmate.

I have been trying various of ways to improve my memory including complementary of nutrition, listen to classical music, doing enough exercises but unfortunately all these never work. Until I read a book about “Mnemonic” (yeah, an odd word where we don’t often see), from there my life was having a huge change.

The book taught a very simple and basic mnemonic but it works impressively, my memory was improved 300% in just 1 hour. Since then I indulge myself into the technique, playing around with it all days. Up to a certain level I realize that the book is not able to fulfill my needs, I’m thirst to know more, so I decided to look for a mentor who could guide me to master the skill.

Back in 2007 I met the person who change my entire life, Dr. Yip Swee Chooi who is the first person to memorize a book of dictionary, the learning journey with him was absolutely fun and amazing and I had learnt a lot of techniques that never reveal in books. Nonetheless, I was never satisfied.

It’s time for me to prove to everyone that the memory technique actually works, I decided to take part in the World Memory Championship held in London 2009, the result turn up was excellent, I passed 2 Grandmaster test and received a world memory ranking at No. 109th among the best memory in the world.

With all these achievements, it gives me the confident and passion to expose such great technique to the public.

I have started the coaching since year 2010, along the coaching journey, I have brought up a team of Malaysia Memory Player and compete in the world class tournament and they had received great achievement.

I do believe that this technique that once so mysterious and powerful which kept as a secret should be reveal now. Thus, I have started this initiative at year 2021 to create Maxmory Edtech Sdn. Bhd., a platform which combine with mnemonics and modern technology, we integrate AI and big data to track the weakness of every student and help them improve in a short period of time. Hoping to help all children in mastering this skill and excel not only in their education, but also their everyday life.

I sincerely hope that Maxmory will bring up the potential of all our children. I strongly believe that regardless who you are, how old are you, what languages you speak, you deserve to have the good memory that you desire, and we are here to assist you.
